Abstract
All aspects of this project were the result of complete collaboration between Joy Goebel and Melissa Marcum. There is a lack of centralized information affording Placer County's emancipated foster youth a resource guide that includes names, contact information, qualifications, requirements, application processes and deadlines for applying for services in local programs and agencies which are available to them. Data was gathered through 175 interviews with Placer County's program directors as well as from previously published guides, phonebooks, and printed materials. It was discovered that a guide of this type has long been desired by the foster youth and the professionals working with them in order to discern all the possible options that are available during the process of emancipation.
