Sources of Data
Data was gathered from questionnaire's that were distributed to former foster youth, and accessed their knowledge and experience with the programs and services provided through the Independent Living Program.
Conclusions Reached
The results from this study found that there is a great need for additional Independent Living Services to current and former foster youth, and the services need to start at an earlier age, so foster youth who are in transition from care to independence have higher success rates with independence.
