Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive study is to provide a source of data regarding the prevalence of bullying of California State University, Sacramento graduate and undergraduate social work students in their field placements. This study included 163 social work students attending required practice classes within the Division of Social Work. Results from this study showed that graduate and undergraduate social work students have experienced and are exposed to bullying behaviors in their field placements. The sample size may not represent the entire population; however, from this sample of participants, there is reason to believe that bullying is a concern for this population. It is hoped that the results of this study may bring about awareness of the impact that field placement bullying has on college students.
