Abstract
The purpose of this project has been to expose me to various readings from Thunderbird International Business Review to familiarize myself with the some of the issues in my future career field. All of the readings included in this project have been immensely helpful in developing my knowledge base in this broad subject. This research project has taught me that in the new world economic system, business leaders and politicians alike should recognize that although they make decisions based on personal and local interests, their impact can be global. Since poor decisions will not simply affect isolated regions, leaders must seek cooperation based on mutual interests.
