Abstract
The issue of parking in cities and campuses has become ever more pressing as the number of drivers on the road continues to increase. At the same time, new breakthroughs in the fields of interaet-of-things and machine learning have opened up new opportunities for maximizing parking efficiency. In this paper, we will present out results for an implementation of our convolutional neural network-based smart-parking image-recognition system. We found our method to be extremely effective and computationally cheap.
