Abstract
Mixed-Status families are families whose members include people with different citizenship status. As of 2018, approximately 16.6 million children growing up in a mixed status families. Under current administration missed status families have become targets of new policies and legislation. Trump Administration claims policies are important to reduce the number of illegal border crossings; policies are set to act as deterrents.
