Editor's Note: What follows is a series of responses resulting from the fact that I rejected Brooke Horvath's review of Doug Rice's Blood of Mugwump, a novel published by FC2 in 1996. I invited Mr. Horvath, if he wished to have the review published, to have it appear along with responses from myself the author and FC2's publisher, Curtis White. He so agreed.
