As an instructor, how many times did we witness students putting their test paper away or throwing them away after looking at the grade? It is a challenge for instructors to hold the attention of students while reading the answers on the test papers after they are graded. One can use self-reflection by letting students grade their own test. This helps students to be aware of their own mistakes. I have used this method to grade tests in one of the mathematics content courses for future teachers.
