Abstract
Prologue for the book "Narrativas Complexas" (2020, Editorial Ría). This short essay discusses the challenges faced when creating and researching complex narratives. It outlines theoretical frameworks for hypermedia and modular storytelling, and proposes methodological approaches for understanding narrative structures across digital media.
