Abstract
We present this final chapter in two acts, reflecting (at least) two significant occurrences at the time of this writing: COVID-19 and uprisings against police brutality. Some have called these twin pandemics, reflecting and reinforcing each other, police and policy violence. The structures that put us where we find ourselves have long been in place, yet reveal the deepest needs, fissures and solidarities that are present –and possible. How can we write about liberatory practices for learning in 2020 without considering this moment in history? We split this piece into two acts: one focusing on the realities of the now, the second on the worlds of possibility and otherwise.
